Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift is an American country singer and songwriter. Taylor Swift's tales tell the story of heartbreak and loss for young girls. Swift was interested in music since a young time. She swiftly rose through the ranks, starting as a child actor and eventually performing before an audience of thousands. When Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Philadelphia 76ers at a game when she was 11 she had already begun writing songs. After that, she began playing guitar. Swift got inspiration from musicians from the country genre, such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and now the Chicks in order to write original music that reflected the loneliness she felt at 13 years old. At the age of 13, Swift's parents sold their farm in Pennsylvania in order to relocate to Hendersonville Tennessee so she could devote more of her time in courting the country music labels in nearby Nashville.
